“Ha Long Bay has many boat tour options but we would recommend our experience with guide Alex and Hercules Luxury cruise. The crew sets a tentative itinerary but is willing to pivot during the day so you see the islands when they are less busy. It’s worth keeping in mind that the stops in this tour have many other boats and other tourists. You’ll spend time in line and with crowds, particularly for the Surprising Caves. This is a popular area with many other tours coming to the same places. The crew provides a very full lunch and afternoon tea break, and the cruise overall is not crowded so there…”

Could have been a better experience if the crowd was managed in order to allow space in between tour batches, as it was just easy to get lost in the sea of people, and could get a bit overwhelming at times.”

“The tour was great! One if the highlights of my trip to Vietnam. It was a super rainy day. The whole boat ride that lasted for 1,5h it was pouring rain. But for me it actually made the experience even more unique and fun. We also did the biking tour in rain. The buffet lunch had a lot if options and was very tasty. Only minus is that the tour guide didn't speak that good of an English. So pretty much the whole group had problem understanding what he was saying. Great value for the money!”
